The KMFA Contemporary Classical Day Party is back for its 2nd Annual celebration on Saturday, March 9, from Noon to 6:00 p.m. Austin composer Nathan Felix and this year’s Draylen Mason Composer-in-Residence, Sophie Mathieu, have curated a lineup that promises to captivate music enthusiasts of all tastes.
A Diverse Lineup of Musical Artists
Guests at this year’s event can expect a melodic journey through the realms of contemporary classical music with performances by a host of local talents. The Akins Sinfonietta Orchestra, Austin Percussion Collective, Esteban Alvarez, Jessy Eubanks, Density512, Maru, Middle Sattre, Khalo Quartet + James Tecuatl-Lee, Panoramic Voices, Perpetual Motion, Kimberly Sandoval, and Mago Sextet, among others, will be serenading the audience with their unique compositions and renditions.
