Austin City Limits Music Festival Announces Daily Lineups, Dominic Fike Withdraws
Another unexpected turn of events in Austin’s music scene as the annual Austin City Limits Music Festival recently launched its day-to-day lineup and dropped a bombshell – singer/rapper Dominic Fike will no longer grace the stage. However, ACL authorities have not given any concrete reasons for his sudden withdrawal from the performance list.
ACL Unveils Day-By-Day Schedule
The festival released an intriguing Friday lineup, featuring artists like Blink-182, Porter Robinson, Fletcher, The MarÃas, and country music star Chris Stapleton. All of these artists are expected to take the later time slots on different stages.
Saturday’s lineup also promises a sensational musical experience with artists like Pretty Lights, Jungle, Vince Staples, Reneé Rapp, and pop queen Dua Lipa spread across various stages. Before these performances, the audience will be treated to the music of Chappell Roan, scheduled to perform at the American Express Stage from 4:20 – 5:20 p.m.
The Sunday schedule lists artists like Sturgill Simpson, Kehlani, Qveen Herby, Dom Dolla, and the gifted Tyler, The Creator. They will take their spots during the late time slots on various stages.
Wrap Up Each Night with a Silent Disco
Each night, festival-goers can end their exciting day at the Tito’s stage, grooving to the beats at the Silent Disco hosted from 8-10 p.m.
Weekend Two Lineup
Weekend Two’s Friday lineup promises more of the same electrifying performances with Blink-182, The MarÃas, and Chris Stapleton making a return. They will be joined by other notable artists such as Elderbrook and Jeezy.
Just like in Weekend One, performances by Pretty Lights, Jungle, Vince Staples, Reneé Rapp, and Dua Lipa will light up Saturday evening. Chappell Roan has been given the same duration of 4:20 to 5:20 p.m. to enthral the audience.
Sunday of weekend two will witness late performances by Sturgill Simpson, Qveen Herby, Dom Dolla and Tyler, The Creator, supplemented by an added performance by The Red Clay Strays. Additionally, the Tito’s stage will again entertain the audience with the Silent Disco from 8-10 p.m.
