Austin Embraces Multicultural Enrichment Through a Paper Lei Making Seminar

Austin, TX – As May commemorates the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander month, the residents of Austin have unveiled another enriching cultural opportunity. The city is set to engage its citizens in a deeper understanding of Hawaii’s unique customs and traditions. The Austin History Center is partnering with the Windsor Public Library to host a Paper Lei Making workshop coordinated by a local curator.

Deep Dive into Cultural Traditions and Artifacts

Starting with a walkthrough of significant artifacts tied to each culture, visitors will leave with a profound appreciation of the diverse heritages. The curator will then delve into the traditions of America’s only archipelago – Hawaii.
