Austin Welcomes Bloom Nutrition's New Headquarters Set for 2025

Austin Set to Welcome Bloom Nutrition’s New Headquarters in 2025

Austin, Texas is gearing up for a fresh arrival in its business landscape as Bloom Nutrition, a popular supplement brand, prepares to relocate its headquarters from Los Angeles. According to the Austin Business Journal, the shift is expected to take place in early 2025.

Strategic Move to Austin

Bloom Nutrition’s co-founders, Mari Llewellyn and her husband Greg LaVecchia, made the move to Austin earlier this year, seeking a closer connection with Nutrabolt, an Austin-based company known for its energy drinks and workout supplements, including C4 Energy. LaVecchia confirmed to the Austin Business Journal that the new headquarters will be at Nutrabolt’s West Austin location, specifically at 332 Grace Lane off Bee Caves Road.

Investment and Growth

In January, Bloom Nutrition secured a significant financial boost by selling a 30% stake in the company for $90 million, led by Nutrabolt. This investment not only helps propel Bloom’s growth but also marks the first time the company has welcomed outside investors since its inception in 2019.

Bloom Nutrition aims to build on its momentum. The brand has already expanded its retail presence, planning to add 7,000 retail stores this year alone. By the end of 2024, Bloom expects to have a total of around 20,800 locations selling its products.

Product Offerings and Brand Philosophy

Founded by Llewellyn, who transformed her life by losing 90 pounds, Bloom Nutrition focuses on promoting wellness through its range of flavored supplements that include a mix of fruits and vegetables. The supplements are designed to enhance gut health and boost energy levels. The brand has gained popularity by collaborating with social media influencers to subtly market its products, particularly its highly favored powdered greens.

Future Innovations

Bloom’s recent launch of an energy drink in Target stores marks its entry into a competitive market that includes heavyweights like Red Bull and Monster. LaVecchia shared that this move could position Bloom to compete directly in this thriving sector.

Furthermore, both Bloom Nutrition and Nutrabolt are looking forward to unveiling more innovative products in the near future, signaling exciting developments for health-conscious customers.

Employee Transition and New Opportunities

Despite the move to Austin, Bloom Nutrition intends to maintain a presence in Los Angeles. They plan to shift their recruitment efforts entirely to Austin, with 80 employees expected to relocate as part of the transition in 2025. Bloom’s vice president of brand, Erica Tam, emphasized that the move aims to foster a more integrated working relationship with Nutrabolt, enhancing collaboration and innovation.

A Bright Future for Bloom Nutrition

Austin’s vibrant business environment is poised to benefit from Bloom Nutrition’s presence. With a commitment to health and wellness, the company is set to make an impression in Texas’s capital, appealing to those who are looking to improve their health through nutritional supplements.

The transition symbolizes not only a new chapter for Bloom Nutrition but also mirrors Austin’s growth as a hub for health and wellness companies. As the city continues to attract innovative businesses, Bloom Nutrition will likely become a key player in the local economy and wellness community.
