Designed to cater to the unique needs of local creatives, the Creative Careers Spring Program serves as a workforce development initiative specifically targeting emerging filmmakers and artists who want to make their mark. The program is a perfect launching pad for individuals in Austin looking to dive into the film and television world.

Since its start, the Austin Film Society has awarded a stunning $2.7 million in grants to over 525 Texas filmmakers. The Creative Careers program itself has benefited over 120 participants, providing around 150 hours of training through classroom instruction and hands-on workshops. That’s serious commitment to nurturing talent!
Moreover, the organization hosts around 200 resource certification classes each year, attracting more than 550 producers annually through Austin Public. The backdrop of this initiative is supported by the generosity of numerous donors, aimed at fostering a more equitable and accessible creative landscape.
