Austin, Texas – The Austin Police Department is asking the public for assistance in locating two men who allegedly opened fire in a parking lot outside an H-E-B grocery store last month. The incident occurred on August 17 around 9:50 p.m. at the H-E-B located at 1801 E 51st St, Austin, TX 78723.
According to police reports, as the two men were leaving the store, one of them reportedly fired multiple shots into the parking lot, where other customers were present and walking. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by one individual at the scene were not life-threatening. The shooter and his accomplice then fled the area in a vehicle described as a white sedan, potentially a Honda Civic.
The Austin Police Department has released descriptions of the persons of interest based on eyewitness accounts. The shooter is described as a Hispanic man with a slim build and black curly hair.
