Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. According to the Austin Police Department, the pedestrian, later identified as 28-year-old Kameron Hartman, was crossing midblock when he was hit first by a white SUV. A second vehicle then struck him shortly after.

Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene, but unfortunately, Kameron Hartman was pronounced dead right there on the spot. It was a devastating outcome that has left many in the community in shock.
