About Austin Symphonic Band

The Austin Symphonic Band (ASB) holds a distinguished position in the cultural landscape of Austin, recognized as the Official Band of the City by the Austin City Council in June of 1989. Since its inception in 1981, ASB has drawn together local brass and woodwind musicians under the leadership of only four conductors: Frank Simon, Randol Bass, Richard Floyd, and current Music Director Kyle Glaser. The band has contributed to numerous City events and educational initiatives while gaining national and international reputation through their performances at various prestigious conventions and clinics.

Father’s Day Concert: A Musical Treat
