Austin Welcomes New Paperboy Location in 2025

Austin is gearing up to welcome Paperboy, a popular brunch spot, with a new location set to open in the vibrant Zilker neighborhood. The new Paperboy will be part of a mixed-use development called The Bouldin, situated at 1401 South Lamar Boulevard. This exciting addition is expected to open its doors in early 2025.

Menu Highlights

The new venue will mirror the successful menu of its original location, offering a wide range of scrumptious daytime meals. Guests can look forward to classic brunch favorites such as pancakes, eggs, bowls, migas, and toasts. The drink menu will include a variety of options, featuring coffee, espresso, tea, sparkling wines, cocktails, and juices. For those on the go, a convenient takeout window will be available, making it easy to grab a meal or drink in a hurry.

Thoughtful Design

The space for the new Paperboy is being thoughtfully designed by Chioco Design and Kempt Studio, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for all diners. The emphasis on design reflects Paperboy’s commitment to not just quality food, but also a pleasant dining experience.

Daybreak Hospitality’s Expansion

Paperboy is under the umbrella of Daybreak Hospitality, founded by Ryan Harms. The expansion comes at a busy time for the company, as Harms is also preparing to open Loudmouth, a new pizzeria in Central East Austin. This upcoming spot will fill the large space that once housed the Rosewood restaurant, and it is expected to serve wood-fired pizza, chicken wings, sandwiches, and an assortment of drinks, with a grand opening anticipated in the fall.

Community Gleanings at The Bouldin

Alongside Paperboy, The Bouldin will house additional exciting establishments. A new location of the popular national wine bar chain Postino is set to open in the fall as well, along with a high-end fitness center from the Life Time gym chain. This development in Zilker promises to become a bustling hub for dining, relaxation, and wellness.

The Evolution of Paperboy

Originally launched as a food truck back in 2015, Paperboy has come a long way since its humble beginnings. The transformation into a physical restaurant occurred in 2020, which has allowed the brand to flourish and gain a devoted following among brunch enthusiasts in Austin. With the upcoming Zilker location, Paperboy aims to bring its unique breakfast and lunch offerings to even more residents and visitors.

Conclusion

Austin’s dining scene continues to grow, and the arrival of the new Paperboy in Zilker is sure to be a highlight for brunch lovers. With its delectable menu, inviting atmosphere, and the promise of community-focused spaces at The Bouldin, this new location is primed to be a staple in the local food landscape. Be on the lookout for its opening in early 2025 as Paperboy expands its reach and continues to delight diners throughout the city.
