Austin’s ‘Blues on the Green 2024’ Reveals Two-Day Lineup After Near Cancelation
Following a near-cancelation resulting from escalating production costs and swelling crowds, Austin’s popular summer outdoor live music concert ‘Blues on the Green’ has triumphantly announced a thrilling two-day lineup for its 2024 edition. The city breathes a sigh of relief in the light of the event’s decisive return.
Return of The Grand Summer Event
The grand celebration was on the verge of being canceled after rising expenses and expansive crowds threatened to cast a shadow over this iconic event. However, a swift resolution approved by the Austin City Council in collaboration with HEB ensured its triumphant continuation.
The series of free concerts will commence between 7-10 p.m. every day, giving the city of Austin a chance to come together and savor the magic of music under the clear summer skies. The location, as usual, will be the heart of the city, Zilker Park.
Lineup Announcement
On Thursday, Austin City Limits Radio broadcasted the exciting two-day lineup for the city’s beloved event. Bringing together an eclectic mix of artists and bands, the series promises to offer something for every music enthusiast.
On Tuesday, June 11, the audience will be treated to performances led by the Golden Dawn Arkestra. The day will feature Nané alongside guest Quetin Arispe, and Grace Sorensen adding to the musical feast.
The following day, Wednesday, June 12, will see the Riders Against The Storm take the stage. The musical fiesta will continue with sets from Caramelo Haze, and The Point.
