Masterchef Finalist Chef Kennedy Grace Opens Austin Restaurant Pop-Up

Austin’s Culinary Scene Enriched With a New Pop-Up Restaurant by Masterchef Finalist Chef Kennedy Grace

Austin food aficionados are in for a new gastronomic experience. This vibrant city is now home to a new pop-up restaurant led by none other than Chef Kennedy Grace, a finalist from Masterchef. The pop-up, named Nosh, is located within the plush cocktail lounge, This Too Shall Pass, at 208 West Fourth Street, Suite D. It officially opens its doors on Wednesday, May 15th.

Exciting Menu Options to Look Forward To

Nosh’s menu, manned by the distinguished chef herself, offers an exciting line-up of New American dishes that change monthly. Patrons can look forward to a mouthwatering array of options such as a twist on endearing chili cheese hot dogs in ravioli form and Grace’s signature dish of elk tenderloin adorned with baby carrots, blueberry compote, and parsnip puree. Gourmet charcuterie boards and a decadent take on tres leches are other highlights of the menu. The happy hour offerings are just as tempting as the main menu, with lavish charcuterie boards and indulgent oyster flights.

Nosh will also offer an exclusive tasting menu dedicated to adventurous food lovers, named the Chef’s Table Experience: Trust the Madness. This Too Shall Pass, the hosting site for the pop-up, is all set to compliment Chef Kennedy’s menu with their enticing selection of cocktails. While Nosh is a pop-up concept, there is no official end date announced as yet. Food lovers can make the most of Nosh’s offerings from 6 to 10 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.

The Journey of the Masterchef Finalist

Born and raised in Denver, Chef Kennedy Grace is no stranger to the culinary circuit. With her background in festival cooking, she made her mark on Masterchef’s 13th season in 2023, where she cemented her place as a finalist. Moving to Austin in the Fall, she sought to open a restaurant, consequently landing an association with the team behind This Too Shall Pass.

This Too Shall Pass and Nosh are both ventures of the Method Three Hospitality group, a dynamic group that also operates the Venue, an event space; the Pub, a lively Irish bar; and Cedar Street Courtyard. This Too Shall Pass had its grand inaugural in February, offering an elevated destination for cocktail enthusiasts.
