Enter Kate Litberg, a Chicago transplant who is bringing some fresh ideas. “She came in wanting to do a Malört night and create a shirt around it. We laughed about it at first; who knew it would become such a hit?” Perez shares with a chuckle. Now, the bar is undeniably the go-to place for Malört enthusiasts!
The dynamic duo has even explored collaborations that delight and confuse patrons alike. “We went back and forth on designs during festival season until she suggested a Blink-182-themed shirt referencing an upcoming concert. It just clicked,” he recounts. It’s this creativity, collaboration, and constant evolution that makes Dirty Bill’s a significant player in the Austin scene.
