Time to Vote, Austin! Your Guide to Early Voting

Hey there, Austin! The time has come for you to make your voice heard in the upcoming Nov. 5 general election. Early voting kicks off this Monday, and if you’re still figuring out how or where to cast your ballot, don’t fret! We’ve got all the info you need right here.

What’s on the Ballot?

There are some pretty important races you’ll be weighing in on this election, including the highly anticipated presidential race featuring former President Donald Trump and current Vice President Kamala Harris. It’s set to be a memorable election season, so make sure you’re prepared!

Where Can You Vote?

Let’s talk about where you can cast your vote. If you’re a registered voter in Travis County, you have the option to vote at any polling center that displays a “Vote Here/Aqui” sign. That means you won’t have to stick to just one place — you can choose a location that works best for you!

Travis County Early Voting Schedule

Here’s the nitty-gritty on the early voting schedule:

  • Monday, Oct. 21, to Saturday, Oct. 26: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 27: Noon to 6 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 31, and Friday, Nov. 1: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Williamson County Voters

For those registered in Williamson County, it’s a similar setup. You can vote at any polling center with that trusty “Vote Here/Aqui” sign. Here’s when you can go:

  • Monday, Oct. 21, to Saturday, Oct. 26: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 27: Noon to 6 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 28, to Friday, Nov. 1: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Bastrop County Voters

And what about our friends in Bastrop County? You also have options for early voting! Here’s your schedule:

  • Monday, Oct. 21, to Friday, Oct. 25: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 26: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 28, through Friday, Nov. 1: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 27: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Hays County Voters

Last but not least, Hays County residents can take advantage of the following early voting hours:

  • Monday, Oct. 21, to Friday, Oct. 25: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Oct. 26: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Monday, Oct. 28, through Friday, Nov. 1: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, Oct. 27: Noon to 6 p.m.
