Frontier Airlines introduces a new nonstop service connecting Austin to San Diego.
Beginning June 13, 2025, Frontier Airlines will offer nonstop flights from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) to San Diego International Airport (SAN), operating four times weekly. The service aims to enhance connectivity for leisure and business travelers alike, alongside a promotional fare of $59 for one-way tickets. This route will increase the total nonstop options from Austin to 11, intensifying competition among airlines in the market.
Frontier Airlines is set to introduce a new nonstop service connecting Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) to San Diego International Airport (SAN) starting June 13, 2025. This new route will operate four times a week, specifically on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The announcement accompanies a period of enhanced activity for Frontier in Austin, where the airline recently launched additional nonstop services encompassing popular destinations such as Orlando, Chicago, Cincinnati, and Phoenix.

However, travelers should be aware of blackout dates on July 3, 5, and 6, 2025, during which the promotional fare will not be available.
