The city of Georgetown, Texas, is getting ready to welcome a brand new H-E-B grocery store that is currently under construction. This will be the third location for H-E-B in the Georgetown area, located at the intersection of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and Ranch Road 2338. Set to open next summer, the new store will cover an impressive 112,000 square feet.

What’s Inside the New Store?

This new H-E-B promises to bring its familiar offerings to the Georgetown community. It will feature a full grocery experience with a bakery, deli, and a dedicated beer and wine section. There will also be a Sushiya counter, which is exciting news for sushi lovers. Additional amenities will include pharmacy pick-up areas, a Curbside area with dedicated parking, a fuel station, and even a car wash.

H-E-B’s Commitment to the Community

Heidi Anderson, the Senior Director of Public Affairs at H-E-B, shared her excitement about the new store and emphasized the company’s long-standing relationship with the community. “We’re proud to have served the Georgetown community for over 55 years and look forward to continuing to bring our customers the very best that H-E-B has to offer,” she stated.

Supporting Local Nonprofits

To celebrate this new chapter, H-E-B is giving back to the community by donating $5,000 each to four local nonprofits. The recipients include the Georgetown ISD Education Foundation, Brookwood in Georgetown, The Caring Place, and the Boys & Girls Club of Georgetown. This generosity highlights H-E-B’s commitment to supporting local causes as they continue to grow in the area.

According to data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Georgetown was named the fastest-growing city in the U.S. for three consecutive years: 2022, 2023, and 2024, among cities with a population over 50,000.
