Hutto Police Make Quick Arrests in Car Theft Incident
Hutto, Texas — Early Monday morning, the Hutto Police Department successfully apprehended five individuals, believed to be responsible for stealing items from parked cars in a local neighborhood. The incident took place in the Glenwood Subdivision, and authorities received a call about suspicious activity around 1:30 a.m. on Labor Day.
According to Lt. Nathan Spraggins of the Hutto Police Department, the suspects involved in the situation were minors. Police were able to respond swiftly and make the arrests within minutes of receiving the call. “We have reprioritized our patrol units to be in neighborhoods more than on the highways,” Spraggins explained. “We want our officers to be visible and available for quick responses at all hours.”
