Shining stars of RuPaul’s Drag Race, BenDeLaCreme and Jinkx Monsoon, will be landing in Texas for their anticipated Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show 2024 Tour. With holiday cheer blending together with old-fashioned charm, sarcasm, and flamboyant costume changes, this theatrical duo is expected to hit the stage in Austin’s Long Center on November 19, making the seventh year of this charismatic holiday spectacular.
After their successful performances on Drag Race and its All-Stars spin-off, DeLa and Jinkx have kept audiences enchanted with their Old Hollywood and Broadway-informed drag styles. As skilled singers and accomplished actors, this holiday show is a sterling representation of their more vaudeville style offerings, allowing them to stand out amid other Drag Race alumni who have subsequently pursued careers as standup comedians, podcast hosts, pop stars, and fashion icons.
The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show 2024 Tour is indeed a grand holiday fest, with 33 cities hosting a total of 38 shows. Among the tour stops, Texas is hosting three shows with one performance in each city of Houston, Austin, and Dallas. This annual holiday event kicks off with previews in Charlotte, North Carolina, on November 7 and 8. The grand end of the tour is planned in Portland, Oregon, on December 29.
The comprehensive tour dates are as follows:
The artist presale begins on July 9 at noon CT with the presale code ‘HOHOHO’. General ticket sale commences on July 12 at noon CT and tickets can be purchased from the Jinkx and DeLa official website. VIP packages, that include a photo opportunity and a Q&A session with the stars, are available separately for purchase with proof of ticket purchase.
This is not just any regular Christmas show, but a unique and extraordinary experience. Jinkx and DeLa are known for parodying classics like A Christmas Carol with a time-travel twist, battling artificial intelligence overlords, and exploring existentialism across multiple universes. The consistency of song and dance routines along with ardent costume changes bring an authentic theatrical feel to the show. The duo’s convincing charisma and genuine sincerity are the cherry on top of this holiday experience, making the entire event a sheer delight for the audience.
