Grand Opening of Lucchese’s Newest Store in Austin

Nashville Welcomes a New Country Music Event

Nashville, Tennessee – The lively atmosphere of Nashville was electric on June 7, 2024, as country music star Parker McCollum took the stage during the 2024 CMA Music Festival at Nissan Stadium. This year has been quite the journey for the Texas-based luxury bootmaker, Lucchese, which is making headlines with its newest store opening in Austin.

Lucchese’s Grand Opening in Austin

This week, Lucchese is opening its doors in the heart of Austin, a city known as the live music capital of the world. The grand opening celebration will run from August 29 to August 31, featuring a mix of local talents. The festivities will kick off with Parker McCollum performing a short live set and hosting a meet-and-greet at the new store located on South Congress.

McCollum, who hails from Houston, is set to perform on Thursday, August 29, beginning at 7 p.m. He is known for hit songs like “Pretty Heart” and “Hell of a Year.” Back in June, McCollum played at the opening of another Lucchese store in College Station, confirming his partnership with the renowned boot brand.

Event Lineup

The celebration continues on Friday, August 30, when the University of Texas‘ pom squad and beloved mascot Bevo will make a special appearance at the store from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.. Following this, local duo THEBROSFRESH will take the stage. The brothers, Thurman and Torrence Thomas, are known for their unique sound that blends rock-and-roll with elements of R&B, soul, and rap, making them a perfect fit for the vibrant Austin music scene.

A Home for Lucchese

This new location marks an important milestone for Lucchese. The store is the latest addition to the bustling South Congress shopping strip, a prime location that has attracted numerous high-end brands in recent years. The company confirmed its expansion plans back in February when it purchased the space that previously housed the Maya Star.

Lucchese, founded in San Antonio in 1883 by Italian shoemaker Salvatore Lucchese, has a longstanding reputation for crafting high-quality cowboy boots. These boots range in price from about $595 to nearly $16,000, catering to a range of customers who appreciate fine craftsmanship. In addition to their boots, Lucchese also offers a selection of western apparel and accessories to complete any outfit.

Location Details

The new Austin store is conveniently located at 1508 S. Congress Ave., Austin, TX 78704, right next to other notable bootmakers such as Allen Boots and Tecovas. This prime location is sure to attract both locals and tourists who are eager to explore what Lucchese has to offer.

The grand opening of Lucchese’s newest store adds to the excitement of the upcoming live music events in Austin and showcases the company’s commitment to being part of the rich cultural tapestry of the city. Whether you’re a fan of McCollum’s music, an avid boot collector, or just looking for a lively atmosphere, this event is set to be a fantastic experience.
