Thanks to the non-profit Austin Parks Foundation, every time you join Monday Movement, you’re also helping to conserve the parks and encourage others to do the same.

The Austin Parks Foundation has been instrumental in igniting interest in park voluntarism, through creative programming, advocacy, and financial support. Apart from the Monday Movement, the Foundation hosts a plethora of other events, including ACL Music Festival, It’s My Park Day, and several others that encourage community involvement.

Fitness at the Heart of Other Communities: Parks for Pups and Parks for Fitness

And it’s not just human fitness enthusiasts that the Austin Parks Foundation caters to. Parks for Pups focuses on creating safe, accessible places for our furry friends to get their daily workout, while Parks for Fitness focuses on using the city’s green spaces to host various fitness events to promote a healthy lifestyle among Austinites.

Other Ways to Contribute

If you want to support the Foundation outside of event participation, there are various ways to get involved. Whether it’s by volunteering, sponsoring, making a donation, or creating a fundraiser, every effort is appreciated. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, helps to enhance the lives of Austin’s residents by improving the city’s parks, trails, and green spaces.
