From Friday, March 22nd to Sunday, March 24th, Austin, Texas, the live music capital of the world, came alive with a mind-blowing variety of musical performances. Friday, March 22nd

The weekend kicked off with the Futon Blonde EP Release Show at the Mohawk. Futon Blonde, an indie rock band based in Austin, TX, was formed in 2014. Over the years, they explored psych rock, funk, and 90s alternative while keeping their catchy, groove-heavy origins intact. The band’s EP release show, in collaboration with Mamahawk & Rococo Disco, began at 9:00 PM and was a buzzing event.

Moving on, the Electric Feels: Indie Rock + Indie Dance Party took place at the Empire Control Room. Known for their energetic performances, Electric Feels enthralled the audience with indie rock and dance music. The party started at 9:00 PM and was a lively spectacle.

Saturday, March 23rd

On Saturday evening, Austin played host to something a little bit different with the Philly Cheesesteak Fest at The Ballroom. Tiny Sounds presented a great mixture of food and music, with performances from Riley! Drunk Uncle, Sleep Schedule, and more.

Later in the evening, the Hippie Sabotage – Enter The Unknown Tour took center stage at Stubb’s. The brothers Kevin and Jeff Saurer, better known as Hippie Sabotage, are known for their high-energy electronic music performances, trippy LED visuals, booming beats, and groovy bass lines. The duo has enjoyed global fame since their remix of Tove Lo’s “Habits (Stay High),” and their performance once again proved why they are a top act in the electronic music scene.

Sunday, March 24th

As the weekend came to an end, the BLACK FLAG: ‘My War’ Album Plus Greatest Hits show at Come and Take It Live was the perfect way to wind down. The iconic punk rock band, BLACK FLAG, thrilled fans by performing their ‘My War’ album in its entirety, with a sprinkling of their greatest hits for good measure. The gig kicked off at 7:00 PM and was a fitting end to a music-rich weekend.

All in all, Austin, Texas, once again displayed its rich and diverse music culture throughout the weekend.
