Even when one Texas A&M defender tried to thwart her, Villarreal’s persistence paid off as she retrieved the loose ball inside the 18-yard box. Attempting to take her down, an Aggie defender went for an aggressive tackle, but Villarreal cleverly managed to send a pass into the penalty area just moments before hitting the ground.

That pass found Ashlyn Miller, who had only days earlier scored the game-winning goal in Texas’ very first SEC victory.
